Интеграция ЛитРес в FBReader больше не работает.

Со стороны FBReader никаких изменений, отключающих эту функциональность, не производилось. Работа интеграции прекратилась после изменений на стороне ЛитРес.

В результате больше недоступны:

• вход в аккаунт ЛитРес из FBReader;
• просмотр каталога ЛитРес;
• покупка и загрузка книг ЛитРес через приложение.

Кроме того, по сообщениям наших пользователей, некоторые книги, ранее доступные для чтения в FBReader, теперь предоставляются ЛитРес только в формате FB3, который не поддерживается FBReader и большинством других независимых читалок. Если это ещё возможно, мы рекомендуем сохранить ранее купленные в ЛитРес книги на вашем компьютере или телефоне, чтобы и дальше читать их в той программе, которую вы предпочитаете.

Поскольку признаков возможного улучшения ситуации сейчас нет, в ближайшее время мы уберём ссылку на каталог ЛитРес из программы.

Нам очень жаль, что многолетнее сотрудничество с ЛитРес завершилось таким образом.

The update synchronises the ePub engine with other platforms, which makes rendering more consistent. Additionally, it fixes iOS-specific performance issues.

The main improvement in this version is significantly faster loading of ePub files with complex embedded styles. For some books, opening time has been reduced from several minutes to just 1–2 seconds.

Additional improvements include enhanced hyphenation logic (especially for English) and a fix for the Menu Settings page — all items are now moveable.

FBReader for macOS has been updated to versions 2.1.5 and 2.2β3. This update ensures that the application runs correctly on macOS 15.3 and earlier.

The update is already available for download from our website and will appear on the Mac App Store within the next few days.

This is the last FBReader update of 2025, and it brings important improvements to both desktop and Android versions.

We have released new desktop versions for Linux, macOS, and Windows, both stable (2.1.4) and beta (2.2β2).

Both versions fix bookmark synchronisation issues with mobile devices, include significant improvements to ePub support, and add a new Esperanto interface translation.

The beta release also introduces OPDS 2.0 support and integration with the Readino ebook store. We expect to include the Readino store integration in the stable version in the first months of 2026.

On Android, we have released FBReader 3.8.22. This update is optimised for Viwoods e-ink devices, includes the same ePub improvements as the desktop versions, along with fixes for a few long-standing issues — including a crash when editing bookmarks.

We are still investigating connection issues with the FBReader Book Network. The new releases send us additional debug information that will help with this work. If you experience connection problems and want to help us diagnose them, please make sure that data collection is enabled in the app settings.
