Readino Bookshop
Readino is a new, independent ebook shop created by the FBReader team.
We opened in November 2025 with a simple goal: to make buying and reading ebooks easy, fair, and flexible — no lock-in, no closed ecosystems, and no fuss.
Today, Readino offers over 1.5 million English-language titles, from bestsellers to classics, from major publishers to niche specialists. Although we currently focus on the UK market, readers from around the world are welcome to browse our catalogue.
Your books, your choice of app
Readino works with any reading application that supports Readium LCP, the open, industry-trusted DRM standard. You are free to read your purchases in FBReader or any other compatible reader. We believe you should choose your books — and how you read them.
Why we built Readino
For years, FBReader has helped readers access ebooks from many different sources. Readino extends that philosophy. It is designed to be:
- Independent – not tied to a single app or platform
- Practical – easy to use, with straightforward licensing
- Open – based on modern, interoperable technology
- Reader-friendly – you stay in control of your library
We want to create a shop that treats readers with respect, offers genuine choice, and avoids the closed-garden approach common in today’s ebook market.
