3.1 beta 25 is the first release of FBReader Premium that is available for download from our site. It is also uploaded to the Google Play store as usual. If
you can run the beta for free. On other devices, you are prompted to buy the license. Currently only available on Google Play, coming to the AppGallery soon.
The changes include Polish LitRes ebook store integration, and experimental Onyx devices support.
After almost half a year of inactivity, we release updates for both Android and iOS.
FBReader Premium 3.0.25 and 3.1 beta 21 for Android, and 1.0.19 for iOS fix Yandex.Translate issue. Recently in this August, Yandex changed their translation API, as well as requirements for partners. We try to manage this problem, and as a temporary solution, FBReader will use Google.Translate interface instead. Hopefully, Yandex.Translate integration will be back soon.

Today we release the first public version of FBReader SDK for iOS. The developer library that helps to build an ebook reader based on the FBReader engine is now available for both Android and iOS.
Demo version of the SDK is downloadable for free. The full version is paid.
We updated the Android app to 3.0.22. The minor update fixes cloud authentication issues for devices with no Google Services. The next major release, with dark/light themes and long-awaited text-to-speech for PDFs planned for March 2020. Join beta tracks to test the features earlier.

Today we roll out the first beta of the next major Android release. This beta upgrades the rendering engine to our SDK. It adds support of new features, like CSS-defined colours, speeds up book loading time, and makes some UI tweaks. The beta uploaded to the Play Store, for both free and premium editions. In the same time, we released SDK 1.0 for Android.
FBReader 3.1 is scheduled for the beginning of 2020. We plan to make significant changes in PDF support, including TTS for PDFs. The release will also include completely new library view that combines local and network libraries into a single screen.
